For this project, my intention was to evoke a sense of monotony, reflecting the way time seems to blur together in the wake of COVID-19. The repetitive nature of the visuals and soundscape mirrors the emotional landscape many have experienced during this time—where each day feels like a mirror of the last. I also wanted to create an atmosphere that feels dreamlike, almost disorienting, by using ambient music and carefully curated visuals that pull the viewer into a space between waking and sleeping.
In the lower section, I’ve included a transcript of a conversation between the user and the AI therapist, ELIZA, focusing on themes of physical and emotional exhaustion, insomnia, and an overwhelming sense of isolation. This dialogue serves as a subtle yet poignant reflection on the impact of the pandemic, emphasizing the collective sense that life, as we once knew it, is no longer the same.
